The Truth Series is about defining truths in God’s word so we can rightly apply the text accurately to our daily lives and in discipling others. Today, people treat truth as subjective, but it is not.
- Scripture will never contradict itself. If there is something we don’t fully understand while reading our Bible, we need to use Scripture to interpret Scripture.
- Scripture was not meant to be taken out of context.
- Knowing what the culture was like when the text was written and not trying to make it fit our current culture is important while reading the Bible.
- Digging into definitions is important.
